I’m a happy man
With a good life,
And a lot of gifts
That are wrapped loosely…
And I peep the edges
Of the Rocking Horse
Who will fearlessly tread
The unplotted course.
I’d like to be loved.
But I’d rather be known.
And when I am known,
Then love me again.
I need to explore
And crack the seal
Of the temple door
That has long been hidden,
And still longer forbidden…
I am no stranger.
A charmed chameleon,
And a conscious comedian.
Who is comfortable in their own skin.
I’m a happy man.
Who’s been served injustice,
With a good life.
I may someday deserve.
