Bad Sucka
Had messy, green hair
And sweet, plump lips
Made a shy little smile.
She thought
It made her look like an alien,
Or maybe a reptilian
(And maybe, just a little bit).
Bad Sucka
Had eyes like glass, bearing tears that crashed into a Sea so vast…
I’d met her
In the center
Of September,
And the reason I remember,
Is that’s exactly where I left her…
Bad Sucka
Was plagued with dreams
Of savage violence
And horrific scenes.
She was strong.
Bad Sucka.
She got tougher.
So did I.
We took care of each other, for a little while.
Just a couple
Sad Suckas,
Getting by.
